WHY DO DANCE?
Dance does so much for the character building of your child. When your child dances with us , he or she learns more than dance. First, it is fun. More than that dance teaches kids respect, focus, timeliness, ability to work in groups, learn leadership skills and impeccable manners. Your child will learn the beauty and feel of sweet success through accomplishment and sincere effort. Entitlement weakens our children but real time accomplishment developes resilience and the ability to face and handle change and challenge. Dancing keeps everyone healthy and happy.
WE CAN HOLD YOUR OR YOUR CHILD'S NEXT BIRTHDAY PARTY AT OUR STUDIO WITH A BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY! WE ALSO CAN HELP WITH GIRL SCOUT BADGE EVENTS!
RECITAL DATE
Recital Date is June 16th! Put it on our calendar! It will be held at Carroll Community College.
NEW CLASSES
"Short and Sweet"
In the spring we will be offering two 4 week sessions for 2 - 3 year olds to introduce them to dance in a gentle classroom environment. Each class is 30 minutes long. We have open observation for all classes and ask that a parent stay with their child during class. This is so that we may call upon them to join the class should their child may need them. $40 a session. No studio fee due. Short and Sweet students and parents are invited as guests to our recital. Session I classes begin May 7th, and meet weekly on Tuesdays. Session II begins May 11th and meets on Saturdays. Children are welcome to take both sessions simultaneously with a fee.
"Turns and Leaps" with Miss Camille
In May, Miss Camille will be offering a FREE 4 week session in learning, perfecting, and performing turns and leaps. The turns and leaps taught in this session will be in the the style of Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Ballet, Poms, Baton Twirling, and Hip Hop. This is a FREE SESSION on Sundays (May 5th, 12th, 26th, and June 2nd) from 10:00am-11:30am. Non-SSSPA dancers are very welcome! This is a great way to prepare for upcoming auditions, try outs, or competitions. We ask that dancers are 7th grade and up. (Underage dancers require permission from studio director and teacher of the session). Space is limited, so please inquire and sign up now!
